Free, private, and ungated

AI companion cost calculator for subscriptions, extras, and renewals.

Enter the plan price you see and how you expect to use it. You will get the amount due for the base plan, its monthly equivalent, a first-year estimate, and a clear list of anything that still cannot be priced.

Your entries stay in this browser tab. No account, email, or intimate conversation data is needed.

What the result means

Six numbers and limits the calculator keeps separate.

This prevents a low monthly equivalent from being mistaken for the cash due today—and prevents missing allowance or add-on prices from quietly becoming zero.

Base charge
The published price entered for one billing period.
Cash due now
The full base charge if the provider collects the period upfront.
Monthly equivalent
Base charge divided across its billing months; arithmetic, not billing cadence.
Known usage
Only extras whose allowance and unit price you can enter.
One-time charges
Setup or other nonrecurring amounts, kept outside monthly cost.
Unknown extras
Missing allowances or prices stay visibly unpriced—not free or unlimited.

The short answer

How do you estimate monthly and first-year AI companion cost?

Divide the full-period price by the number of months for a monthly equivalent. Then add any recurring usage you can actually price. For a first-year estimate, count 12 months of known recurring cost and add known one-time charges once.

Worked example: the editable starting numbers below use a $120.00 price covering 12 months, plus 40 images and 60 voice minutes a month. This is arithmetic—not a market average, product price, or prediction of typical use.

Monthly equivalent

$10.00 per month is known

$120.00 divided by 12 months equals $10.00. That makes plans easier to compare; it does not mean the provider bills monthly.

Cash due for the plan

$120.00 may still be due upfront

If the plan charges the full period at once, budget the full $120.00 base price—not $10.00. Tax, fees, discounts, and the actual checkout total remain separate until entered or observed.

Known first-year base

$120.00 is calculable

Twelve months at the known $10.00 monthly equivalent gives $120.00. This assumes the same base rate for a year; it does not establish renewal pricing or equal features across plans.

Full total

The all-in cost is still unknown

The example includes 40 images and 60 voice minutes, but their included allowances are missing. The calculator therefore leaves the monthly and first-year totals unknown instead of treating missing usage prices as free.

How whole-pack math works

Extra Credits, Coins, Gems, or Tokens are rounded up to packs you can actually buy.

Generic example: a $10.00 monthly plan includes 100 Gems. If you expect to use 351, you need 251 extra. Packs contain 100 and cost $1.99, so the calculator rounds up to three packs ($5.97) and produces a $15.97 known monthly estimate.

These are editable teaching numbers—not a product price, market usage benchmark, recommendation, or claim that units expire, roll over, refund, or work across channels.

1. Choose a price

The editable starting example uses $120 for 12 months. It is not a market average or a product claim.

Published plans are dated USD starting points, not checkout quotes. If you choose an app listing, its displayed price already reflects that store.

2. Pick a usage example

40 images and 60 voice minutes per month; text and video are not modeled. These are examples you can edit, not claims about typical behavior.

Use this for virtual currency sold in packs. The calculator rounds extra use up to whole packs because a provider may not sell the exact number of units you need. Leave any unknown field blank.

This models purchase arithmetic only. It does not establish what an action consumes, whether units expire or roll over, whether packs are refundable, or whether units work across web and app stores.

What this works out to per month

Known monthly cost: $10.00

If your usage changes by 25%: $10.00 is known; the full range cannot yet be priced

Billing basis: $120.00 entered for 12 months.

This monthly view combines the billing-period price with any recurring usage you could price. It does not mean the product bills monthly. One-time fees stay separate.

First-year cost: $120.00 plus unpriced recurring usage and related tax

The recurring monthly range is incomplete because some excess usage has no recorded price.

Costs not included yet

These missing prices could make the total higher; they are never treated as free.

  1. Base: $120.00 ÷ 12 month(s) = $10.00 per month
  2. First-year known cost: 12 × $10.00 recurring monthly subtotal + $0.00 one-time fees

This calculator does not transmit or save inputs. First-year cost assumes the same monthly usage and recurring rates for 12 months while one-time fees occur once. Currency conversion, refunds, and future plan changes are not modeled. Enter tax only when you have a reasonable estimate; unpriced usage can also create unpriced tax.

Private renewal calendar

See when recurring charges can actually land.

A weekly plan is not four charges every calendar month, and a monthly plan is not one charge every four weeks. Enter one known charge date and a planning window to count the estimated renewals that fall inside it.

The schedule stays in this browser tab. It does not save dates, put them in the URL, transmit them, connect to a calendar account, or schedule a notification. If you choose, it can download one generic calendar event for your personal review date; your calendar controls any reminder.
